Bekhorot 19: words to know
- יוֹצֵא דּוֹפֶן (yotzei dofen): An offspring born by caesarean section. The Mishna discusses whether a caesarean-born animal or the offspring following it attains firstborn sanctity.
- פֶּטֶר רֶחֶם (peter rechem): That which opens the womb. Cited as the Torah's requirement that disqualifies an animal not born naturally from firstborn sanctity.
